While one KU wide receiver commit may be on the verge of flipping to another school, the program added another player at that position in the class of 2020.
Kyler Pearson announced on Twitter on Monday that he was committing to the Jayhawks.
After another great talk with [Les Miles] I am very excited to say that I am committed to Kansas University! Pearson tweeted, adding the hashtags Committed RockChalk Pearson attended KU football s one day high school camp at the start of June. Following his performance at the event Tucker Vang Jersey, he received his first offer, which came from the University of Kansas. Plenty of others have shown interest in the Oklahoma wideout , who is currently unranked, and the Jayhawks may not yet be in the clear with his recruitment, especially as players cannot sign until December. Regardless, Pearson has shared a number of posts on social media related to his time at KU s camp and the news regarding his offer and commitment. Here s a little bit more on what KU football will be getting with Pearson... Listed at 5 8, 150 pounds, Pearson has been described by 247Sports Robert Allen as a speedster outside threat for https://www.kansasjayhawksshop.com/clay-young-jersey-c-11.html the high powered Union [Okla.] offense. Pearson is indeed from the Tulsa high school, where he helped Union to the 6A I state semifinals in his junior season.
Pearson was active in the return game in addition to being used as a wide receiver, as the first play of his junior season film shows him nearly going end to end for a score. His film shows a strong ability to track the ball in the air and make a difficult catch over the middle. He also seems to possess good breakaway speed and was used as a deep threat on several instances in the Union offense.
With his commitment, the Jayhawks are up to nine players in the class of 2020, though Keith Miller s Crystal Ball is currently trending in another direction.
